    Instant Pot BBQ Ribs

    Simple and delicious instant pot bbq ribs is great for lunch, dinner and parties gathering. This instant pot baby back ribs recipe is very easy and tender that the meat fall off the bones.

    Instant pot BBQ ribs:

    There are few ways to cook barbecue ribs. Personally, I have tried oven bake, grilled and instant pot BBQ ribs.

    However, I still like to use instant pot pressure cooker to make BBQ ribs. Not only it’s simple, quick and easy, but also the meat is tender, juicy and tasty.

    My family love this simple instant pot BBQ ribs recipe. And, I hope you enjoy this easy and quick fix dinner recipe as well.

    What are the ingredients for pressure cooker ribs?

    The ingredients are very simple baby back ribs, salt, black pepper and honey bbq sauce. You can more seasoning if you want. I just want to keep ingredients simple and it's still tasty.

    Cooking tips for instant pot baby back ribs:

    • Wash and rinse the ribs. Then, flip the ribs and remove the membrane on the back.
    • After that, seasoning with salt and pepper by rubbing the salt and pepper on the ribs.
    • Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes before cooking. The best to marinate the ribs a few hours before cooking.
    • Put a cup water and a rack into an instant pot. Next, put the ribs on the rack. Then, close the lid and vent push manual button to adjust time for 30 minutes. After, let it wait for 5 minutes and quick release the pressure. (Don't open the lid until all the pressure is released.)
    • Put the ribs on a cookie sheet and brush honey BBQ sauce around the ribs. Preheat the oven broil and change the rack to the top in the oven, so the ribs will be closer to the fire. Let it broil for 5 minuets, after rest a few minutes.
    • Lastly, cut the ribs and brush more honey BBQ sauce before serving.

    What kind of ribs do you use?

    I like to use baby back ribs because it is smaller and the texture is tender. I have tried some big size ribs. The meat is little tougher compare to baby back.

    Do I have to remove the membrane on the back of the baby back ribs?

    The best to remove it because it easy to cut the ribs and the taste is better.

    What kind of BBQ sauce do you recommend?

    I like to use honey sweet BBQ sauce. You can use other flavor that suitable for your taste.
