Wash or rinse 2 racks of the ribs (Each rack is around 2.68 pounds). Then, dry them with a paper towel. Flip the ribs at the back and remove the membrane.
After that, put 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of garlic powder and 1 teaspoon of black pepper into a small container. Mix it well.
Next, rub the seasoning from step 2 on the ribs. Let it marinate for 15-30 minutes before cooking. (It's best to let it marinate overnight or a few hours before cooking.)
Pour 1 cup of water into the instant pot and put a rack in.
Then, put the marinated baby back ribs on the rack. After that, close the lid and vent. Push the Manual button to adjust time for 35 minutes at high pressure and naturally release pressure. (Don't open the lid until all the pressure is released.)
Meanwhile, wrap foil around the tray.
When the ribs are done, open the lid.
The following step, take the cooked ribs out and put them on the tray with foil.
Brush ½ cup of sweet honey BBQ sauce on the back of the cooked rib.
Then, flip the other side of the ribs and brush 1 cup of sweet honey BBQ sauce. Turn on the oven to broil for 5-7 minutes. (Change the rack to the top in the oven, so the ribs will be closer to the fire.)
