Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons Active dry yeast
  • 2 cups Warm water
  • 8 tablespoons Sugar (total)
  • 6 cups Bread flour (total)
  • 1 tablespoon Vital wheat gluten
  • 1 tablespoon Dough enhancer
  • ½ tablespoon Salt
  • cups Vegetable oil (butter or shortening)

Instructions

  • Put 2 cups warm water, 2 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons yeast and ⅔ cup of vegetable oil into a mixer (I prefer using Bosch) and stir a little bit and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  • Use another mixing bowl, add 3 cups bread flour, ½ tablespoon salt, 6 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon dough enhancer and 1 tablespoon vital wheat gluten and mix it well.
  • Turn on the mixer, slowly add the mixture flour into the mixer
  • Add 3 cups of flour, one at a time
  • Let the mixer run for 5 minutes until the dough is well mixed. Take the dough out and put it into a mixing bowl and cover with a damp towel. Wait for it rises (around 30-45 minutes)
  • Divided the dough into a small piece and roll it like a ball.
  • Grease a cookie sheet and place the dough on the cookie sheet
  • Cover the dough with a damp towel and let it sit for another 30-45 minutes
  • Bake at 350 F for 18 -25 minutes until golden brown
  • Yields around 30 rolls all depends how big you roll the dough
