Wash and cut broccoli into pieces
Sliced beef steak into small strips
Put the sliced beef into a bowl. Then add marinated sauce: 2 tablespoons oyster sauce, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil and mix well. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.
Boil water in a pot. Then, add some salt and vegetable oil. When the water is boiling, put the broccoli into the pot and cook until the broccoli is soft. However do not over cook them. After that, drain the water and rinse the cooked broccoli with cold water, so the broccoli will retain its bright green color.
Lay the cooked broccoli on a plate. After that, set them aside.
Add ½ teaspoon vegetable oil into a non stick pan, turn on fire medium high. Next, add garlic, ginger and stir fried them a little bit.
Pour the marinated beef into the pan and stir fried them a little bit.
Add a cup of water and thicken sauce (In a small container, mix 2 tablespoons corn starch and 2 tablespoons water). Then, cook and keep stirring until the sauce is thicken.
When the beef is done (Don’t over cook them), pour the sauce and beef into a plate with broccoli.
