Cooking Tips for how to cook perfect hard boiled eggs in instant pot?

  • In order to make perfect hard boiled eggs, using an instant pot pressure cooker is crucial.
  • Timing is very important. If time is too short, egg yolk is running. On the other hand, when time is too long, egg white texture will be harder. Also, I have tried different time to cook hard boiled eggs. As the result, I like manual 2 minutes and natural release method because eggs are cook through, soft and smooth.
  • Put eggs into an ice bath right after the natural release is done. Then, let the eggs soak in the ice water for a couple minuet before peeling them. This helps the egg and membrane separate, so the shell comes off easily and have smooth and perfect eggs.
